Hurly-Burly is set to open inside a historic seaside theatre along the waterfront. bringing a BoardWalk story that spans over a century. During the afternoon. guests will be able to stop by for family-friendly activities led by a host—trivia and other games are part of the plan. As the day shifts. Hurly-Burly will transition into a live music venue for guests 21-and-over. with classic. coastal-inspired cocktails and tasty light bites paired with a range of musical entertainment designed to sit alongside the BoardWalk’s other offerings.
Not far from the entertainment, Basin is bringing a new retail experience to Disney’s BoardWalk. Basin on the BoardWalk is described as rooted in the resort’s classic boardwalk heritage while still feeling “timeless and distinctly new. ” with a sensory shopping setup built around handcrafted products made with quality ingredients. The collection includes natural soaps, botanical bath salts, bath bombs, body butters, lip salves, shampoo and conditioner bars, and more.
The store won’t be just shelf shopping. It’s planned to include interactive elements meant to make the experience stand out—starting with a custom bath tea blending counter, a make-your-own-soap station, and a soap embossing press for a personalized finishing touch.
One piece of the BoardWalk’s evolution doesn’t come in isolation. The new lounge and the interactive retail experience arrive as Disney leans into what already defines the area: a mix of daytime energy and evening atmosphere. with people able to move from games and gatherings to live music. cocktails. and a more hands-on kind of browsing.
