Demi Moore and Halsey Steal Cannes ’Man I Love’ Premiere

Demi Moore and Halsey hit the red carpet at Cannes 2026 on May 20 for the Palais des Festivals premiere of Man I Love, joining a star-packed lineup that also included Ruth Negga, Chloe Zhao, and Rami Malek.
On Wednesday night, May 20, the Palais des Festivals in Cannes lit up as Demi Moore and Halsey arrived for the premiere of the new movie Man I Love.
Moore, 63, stepped out in a white and black dress, accessorized with Chopard jewelry. Halsey, 31, matched the occasion in a gold and black custom Vivienne Westwood dress.
The red carpet spread well beyond the duo. Ruth Negga, Chloe Zhao, Olivia Palermo and her husband Johannes Huebl, along with model/activist Madisin Rian and French model Didi-Stone, were also on hand for the event. Movie stars Rami Malek and Tom Sturridge appeared as well.
Cannes provided the film’s premise: “Set in the vibrant era of late 80s New York, the film follows Jimmy George, a Downtown performance artist in an extraordinary moment between great illness and death when, still, all beauty and love is possible.”
While the premiere drew attention for its glamour, it also carried an extra layer of festival clout. Demi, Ruth, and Chloe are serving as jury members at the film festival this year, and earlier in the day they were immortalized through a handprint ceremony.
If Moore’s day wasn’t busy enough, she also shared her thoughts on the AI debate.
Ruth appeared wearing a custom Loewe dress and Chopard jewelry. Madisin Rian wore a Barbara Rizzi dress.
The buzz around the night was as much about the lineup as the setting—late-night Cannes sparkle meeting a story set in late 80s New York, with the festival’s jurors front and center.
