Delphi casts Demián Bichir, Andre Holland for boxing drama

Delphi casts – Amazon’s new Creed-universe series Delphi is now in production in Los Angeles, and the streamer has named its cast—led by Demián Bichir and André Holland, with Wood Harris and others joining as recurring roles.
The first names dropped for Delphi arrive like a bell through a quiet gym: Demián Bichir. André Holland. Wood Harris.
Amazon has announced the cast for Delphi, its new TV series set in the Creed universe, produced by Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society. The show is already in production in Los Angeles. with a story built around a group of gifted young boxers at an elite academy—fighters pushing to reach their dreams and the pinnacle of their sport.
Series regulars include Benji Santiago (Broadway’s The Notebook), Juan Castano (Rob Peace), Demián Bichir (Land), André Holland (Love, Brooklyn), Andre Royo (The Punisher: One Last Kill), Sofia Black-D’Elia (Remarkably Bright Creatures), and Victoria Vourkoutiotis (Elsbeth).
Santiago will play Santi Torres. Raised in East LA, Santi is a raw talent who has always lived in the shadow of his older brother.
Castano takes on Nico Torres, Santi’s older brother. He’s described as a naturally gifted boxer, but personal setbacks have forced him to confront his innermost demons.
Bichir joins as Hector Torres, the Torres family patriarch. Born in Mexico, Hector now lives in Los Angeles, where he owns and operates a boxing gym in East LA. He’s described as worn and wise, using a tough-love approach—demanding the world from his sons while fiercely advocating on their behalf.
Holland plays Teddy ‘T-Bone’ Parker, a boxing strategist and lead instructor at the Delphi Academy. He approaches boxing “like chess,” turning it into something intellectual and calculated, with sensitivity that sits in tension with the bloodsport he’s dedicated his life to.
Andre Royo is cast as Elmer Tatum, an eccentric boxing encyclopedia. Bronx-born and effortlessly cool, he can predict a final outcome based on what the fighters had for breakfast.
Black-D’Elia will play Bobbi Weiss. An accountant with a dream of pursuing her true passion—becoming a trainer at an elite boxing academy—Bobbi has boxing in her bones. She’s credited with extensive knowledge of the sport and a keen eye for talent, despite never having stepped in the ring herself.
Victoria Vourkoutiotis is set to play Kai Katsaros, an introverted young boxer with incredible ability and skill who battles to overcome low confidence, high anxiety, and stage fright in pursuit of her potential.
Wood Harris is among the recurring-role additions. Harris will play Little Duke, the son of Tony “Duke” Evers and the legendary trainer of Apollo Creed—continuing that legacy by training the young talent from the Delphi Academy.
Niles Fitch plays Dante, with Dasan Frazier as Remy, Graham Patrick Martin as Jackson, Brittany Adebumola as Mina, Rene Moran as Iggy, Okieriete Onaodowan as Freddie, and Breanna Yde as Ana. Dasan Frazier and others will join the academy’s orbit as the series finds its footing.
Delphi marks the first live-action series extension of the Creed film franchise. The showrunner is Marco Ramirez. Ramirez is exec producing alongside Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo via their Outlier Society. as well as Irwin Winkler and David Winkler. Charles Winkler. Sebastian Winkler via Winkler Films’ team. and William Chartoff. Philipp A. Barnett, Jennifer Johnson, and José Padilha. Padilha is directing the pilot.
