“I deeply loved him and I believed he loved me too…It’s still so painful for me to process the harsh reality and truth of that relationship…but as time passes and in my quiet moments…I realize that it was far from love,” Joy wrote.
She was clear about one point: she “never consented” to being filmed. Joy alleged that “the person in the video” had previously blackmailed her, demanding money and threatening to release the footage. She did not spell out whether the person she was referring to was Combs or Sly Diggler.
Joy said that after the blackmail, the man eventually sold the tape to “a giant media outlet,” and the outlet reached out to her for comment. She told them the recording was “revenge porn and an extortion scheme,” and Joy wrote that the media company allegedly backed off.
“…I know they are probably reading this and I want to say thank you for doing the right thing…even though years later..it’s come back to haunt me again,” Joy wrote.
She also described the personal cost of confronting the video again. Joy admitted it took her “all day to find the courage to rewatch [her] abuse.” She said watching it was triggering and painful, tied to the “inner turmoil and pressures” she felt.
“I was not and was never in my right mind throughout the entirety of that relationship…seeing myself so lost is excruciating. I just want to hold that girl in that room and get her out of there…and tell her that wasn’t love and she didn’t need to do this for love. My heart is breaking as I type this. I wish so many things were different but I can’t take back the hands of time.”.

I read like half of this and I’m already confused. DJ Vlad said it’s real but why is everyone acting like that automatically explains consent? If she never consented, the “who leaked it” part should be the real focus.
Honestly I don’t buy the “I never consented” thing like… if you’re in a situation with Diddy you kinda know stuff is shady right? Not saying it makes it okay but people act like she was surprised a camera was there. Also Sly Diggler?? never heard that name until now so I’m like who even is that.
