Dan + Shay didn’t just drop a new release date. They framed their sixth studio album, Young, as a direct window into where they are in life, and they plan to open that window everywhere on August 21.

The duo. Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. say Young arrives after they “navigated family. faith. and following dreams during one of the most prolific seasons of their storied 13 year career.” The album is co-produced by Smyers alongside longtime collaborator Scott Hendricks. and it’s presented as moving through “the universal rhythms of life.” The title-track “Young” is available everywhere today. with the pair describing it as their “most personal album yet.”
