Dallas Stadium heat index hits 105+ for England-Croatia

Fans heading to the England vs. Croatia match at Dallas Stadium are being warned to prepare for extreme heat and humidity, with a forecast heat index around 105 on Wednesday and Heat Advisory conditions pushing “feels-like” temperatures toward 110 on Thursday.
DALLAS — The kind of weather you feel before you ever reach the gate is already moving in. Heat and humidity are expected to dominate the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex ahead of the highly anticipated England vs. Croatia match at Dallas Stadium, and the forecast is asking fans to plan around something bigger than “hot.”.
Wednesday’s outlook calls for partly to mostly sunny skies. along with strong south winds that push afternoon temperatures into the low to mid-90s. Humidity is expected to be high enough that the heat index climbs to 105. Rain isn’t expected to be a major factor. with only a very low chance of rain limited to the far southeastern counties.
Game day is not expected to cool down much. During the match window. game-time temperatures are forecast to hover in the mid-90s. with a heat index that remains even higher. For anyone heading out early—tailgating. standing in long lines. or spending time outside before kickoff—the reminder is simple and urgent: drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks in the shade.
The heat doesn’t stop after Wednesday. Thursday triggers an official Heat Advisory. with “feels-like” temperatures projected to spike as high as 110 degrees in parts of North and Central Texas. Daytime highs are still expected to land in the mid-90s. while heat index values are forecast to stay consistently over 105. Residents are being urged to stay hydrated and wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing.
Relief is expected to arrive late Thursday evening. A cold front dropping out of Oklahoma is forecast to push a line of storms southward. bringing scattered storms overnight into Friday morning. Some of those storms could become strong, with gusty winds. But the weekend picture is more complicated: the front is expected to stall and wash out. leaving lingering rain chances through the weekend. The active weather pattern is also expected to carry into next week.
Sunday and Monday are lined up to be the hottest days of the period. Actual temperatures are expected to near 100 degrees, and heat index values are again threatening the 110-degree mark.
The forecast information comes from the FOX 4 Weather Team and the National Weather Service.

Heat index 105?? Dang just cancel it. People gonna pass out in the lines.
So basically it’s gonna feel like 110 Thursday and nobody can do anything? I mean drink water, sure, but tailgating is the whole point. Are they gonna have shade tents or is it just “good luck” from the stadium?
Wait, is this about England vs Croatia or is it like Dallas trying to make people not come to the games? I saw “cold front from Oklahoma” and my brain went to like… they’ll cool it down by Friday, right? But they’re also saying Sunday and Monday are the hottest so I’m confused.
Heat advisory means nothing to me tbh, people been surviving Texas forever. Half the stadium will ignore it, then act shocked if someone gets sick. Also why isn’t it raining? like wouldn’t rain fix all this humidity? Anyway hydrate or stay home.
