Man charged, woman released after Cork drugs seizure
A man in his 30s has been charged, and a woman in her 20s has been released without charge after they were both arrested over a drugs seizure in Cork. The man is now scheduled to appear before a sitting of Midleton District Court on Monday. Gardaí said the woman in her 20s, who was also detained, was released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). a search of a residential property in the Cobh area of Cork on Saturday. During the course of the search, gardaí recovered cannabis with an estimated value of approximately €50,000, along with a small quantity of cocaine. Additionally, utensils associated with the mixing and preparation of drugs were also found at the premises.
