FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY — EARLY THURSDAY A.M.

A First Alert Weather Day has been issued for early Thursday A.M. due to the potential for a storm or two that becomes strong or even severe.

Storms will move into southern Kentucky shortly after midnight on Thursday and slide east-southeastward. Damaging wind is of greatest concern with any storms that move through. However, small hail and/or an isolated tornado is not out of the question. Watch for brief drenching downpours and frequent lightning.

Storms will exit Middle Tennessee and south-central Kentucky to the east shortly after sunrise on Thursday, taking the threat for severe weather with it.
