Carney’s Media Protection Program Faces Alberta Backlash

No wonder Alberta wants to separate. Ignoring all of these factors and more means you are part of the problem. DAVID JOHNSTON COMPLAIN OR CAPITULATE Re: Complaining gets nothing done, letter to the editor, online, May 14 Complain or capitulate! Compliance gets you more of the same. Complaining gets your objections on the record. If you do not complain, you are presumed to agree with what is done to you. Pollsters document the public mood and politicians pay attention. Ask Albertans. Ask the NDP. Ask

Doug Ford. Problem is, it takes a long time for change when Canada has no recall legislation. Time to complain about that. JOY RIDE AROUND THE MOON What did we learn from that joy ride around the moon? Yes, a rock looks the same on both sides. It’s a good thing it wasn’t on our dime. 1. Alberta wants to separate because of “media protection”?? That seems like a stretch but people get mad over less. Also why do they keep saying complain or capitulate like it’s a rule lol.

  2. I’m sorry but “no recall legislation” is the reason nothing changes? That’s what I heard anyway, maybe I missed the point. If politicians “pay attention” when people complain then just complain louder right? Seems like the letter is trying to guilt people into it.

  3. The part about the moon made me laugh, like we’re still arguing while another government “joy ride” is happening. And Carney… media protection program… sounds like censorship but they call it protection so everyone’s supposed to be chill. Also “ask Doug Ford”?? I’m not even sure what that’s related to.
