Charlie Noble pictured as tributes pour after Bracklinn Falls death

A teenage boy who tragically died at a popular Scots beauty spot has been pictured for the first time as tributes pour in for the “lovely boy”. Emergency crews rushed to Bracklinn Falls near Callander on Thursday, May 28. An alarm was raised around 6.45pm after police received a report of concern for a person. Upon attendance, the body of a 16-year-old boy was recovered from the water. He has now been named as Charlie Noble. The force said his death is not being treated
as suspicious. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal following the incident at the series of waterfalls on the Keltie Water near Callander in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Following his tragic death , tributes were posted across social media by all those who knew him. His dad, Tam Noble, changed his profile picture to a lovely photo of his son in the hours afterwards. Friends and family took to the comments to share their condolences . Sharee Aitchison said: “Every
parent is crying with you Tam. My heart goes out to you. My doors always open. The best dad you were, Tam.” Danielle Dani wrote: “Absolutely heartbroken for you Tam. Thoughts are with you and the family, sending lots of love. Charlie was a lovely boy and that was all down to you pal.” Marion Nolan continued: “So sad, just heartbreaking. Thinking of his dad Tam, papa Tommy, and auntie Gillian at this sad time.” Vicky Tonner noted: “Tam, everyone is absolutely heartbroken for you.
We all know how much you love Charlie. My son is devastated to lose a great friend. Sending love and strength.” Charlene McGuire added: “Absolutely heartbroken for you all. 24C and people out by the falls… just so sad. Thoughts with his family.
Not being suspicious doesn’t mean it wasn’t preventable. Like why were they letting people go to waterfalls when it’s basically beach weather? Prayers, but come on.
I swear I saw another story about a kid in Scotland at a “Keltie Water” place, is that the same one? Either way it’s heartbreaking, like why are teens always in water spots when it’s hot? Hope his dad Tam is ok.
Crazy how they say he was “recovered from the water” like that’s normal wording. If it’s not suspicious then what was it, just bad luck? Also 12th water death in the UK?? Seems like someone should be doing more signage or closing areas during heat. RIP Charlie.
