Chappell Roan Announces ‘The Super Graphic Spectacular’ Two-Day Fundraiser to Benefit Trans Youth & LGBTQ+ Communities

Chappell Roan is throwing a major fundraiser!

On Friday (August 7), the 28-year-old “Pink Pony Club” singer announced that she will be throwing a two-day fundraiser called “The Super Graphic Spectacular” taking place at The Shrine in Los Angeles on October 21 and 22.

Chappell is hosting the fundraiser through her non-profit The Midwest Princess Project to help provide resources for trans youth & LGBTQ+ communities.

The Grammy winner said that the event will be “filled with drag, dance, guests, surprises, and funnnn.” She will be among the entertainers performing at the event.

The “Spectacular” is “described as an immersive experience that will provide volunteer opportunities to benefit trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities through the Midwest Princess Project, which is celebrating its first full year of impact. Each night will have live performances, guest appearances, drag artistry, comedy and more,” according to Variety.

Each dollar raised through the fundraiser will “directly benefit the organization’s ongoing initiatives committed to fostering care, connection and access to resources.” Thus far, the organization has raised $800,000 through donations and proceeds from Chappell’s “Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things” pop-up shows.

Tickets will be routed through Fair AXS in a fan-first approach to avoid scalpers. Pre-registration begins on August 7 at 10 a.m. PT, and everyone who registers during the window will be able to purchase a ticket. Registration closes on August 11 at 8:59 p.m. PT, while ticket purchasing will open in waves from August 18-20.
