Chaos at Texas Longhorns game as paramedics rush into stadium with stretchers to help fans in the scorching heat
Paramedics reportedly had to rush into the Texas Longhorns’ game on Saturday to give aid to fans as they succumbed to the searing heat.
Arch Manning and the Longhorns hosted Texas State in their season opener but they were forced to play in stifling conditions in Austin with temperatures surpassing 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
That led to chaos in the stands and one fan posted a picture on social media of hundreds of people gathered inside the bowels of the stadium to get out of the sun.
Hunter Schuler claimed on X he hadn’t ‘seen anything like this in a long time’ and he’d ‘already seen paramedics bring four stretchers in’ during the first quarter.
‘People are huddled in the stadium like it’s a hurricane shelter,’ he added.
The Daily Mail has contacted the Texas Longhorns for comment.

Texas expects to be back among the national contenders, not just at the start of the season but in December as well.
