Celebrity Stylist Jack Martin Mourns Wife Dalia’s Death

Celebrity hair colorist Jack Martin announced on Facebook that his wife, Dalia—whom he married for more than 30 years—died on Wednesday, June 17, after an undisclosed form of cancer.

Celebrity hair colorist Jack Martin is grieving the loss of his wife of more than three decades, and he shared the news directly with his followers on Facebook.

“Last night, my world changed forever. My beloved wife, Dalia, took her last breath, and with her, a part of my heart left this world as well,” Martin wrote on Thursday, June 18, announcing Dalia’s death.

Martin said they were married for more than 30 years. writing that for more than three decades Dalia “walked beside me through every joy. every struggle. every success and every disappointment.” He recalled how she celebrated with him when life was kind and “carried” him when life was cruel. He also said she stood beside him when “others disappeared. ” believed in him when he doubted himself. and gave him strength when he felt weak.

Dalia’s illness was also part of Martin’s post. He wrote that Dalia died after battling with an undisclosed form of cancer. “When you became sick, I prayed endlessly for a miracle,” he said. “Not because I was afraid to be alone. but because I could not imagine a world without your laughter. your voice. your smile. your touch. and the beautiful presence that filled every corner of my life.”.

He described watching cancer take pieces of her as “the most painful thing I have ever experienced,” adding that even in her suffering, “your courage amazed me.” He also wrote that even as her body became weak, her spirit remained “beautiful.”

For Martin, Dalia’s impact went beyond the months of illness. He said his wife was the source of his “strength” throughout her cancer battle. and he returned to the small details that made their life together feel whole—“the conversations no one else heard. the meals we shared. the quiet moments [and] the routines that seemed ordinary at the time but now feel priceless.”.

In his message, Martin emphasized how much he wants more time. “I would give anything to have one more morning with you, one more conversation, one more laugh, one more chance to hold your hand and tell you how deeply I love you,” he wrote.

Martin stressed that his love “did not end” with her death on Wednesday, June 17. “Death may have taken your hand from mine, but it can never take your place in my heart,” he wrote. “It can never erase the life we built. the memories we created. or the love that bound our souls together for so many years.”.

He ended with gratitude and a note of hope: “Thank you for every sacrifice you made for me. … You were the greatest blessing God ever gave me. And if there is mercy in this universe, then this goodbye is not forever.”
