A new Capcom discount is finally showing up in Nintendo’s storefront for one of its biggest recent releases. Resident Evil Requiem is on sale for the first time since launch—covering both the standard version and the Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch 2.
The price cut lands as follows on Switch 2: Resident Evil Requiem is $55.99 (was $69.99). and Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition is $63.99 (was $79.99). Capcom’s May 2026 sale also includes a major shake-up in fighting games. Street Fighter 6 drops to $19.99 (was $39.99), while Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition is $38.99 (was $59.99).

So they finally discounted it… about time. I don’t even have Switch 2 tho lol.
Wait does this mean Resident Evil Requiem is $55.99 *and* the Deluxe is $63.99? That seems kinda random like why not make Deluxe 59.99 or something.
I saw “first time since launch” and assumed it was just for like preorders or something, but it’s actually on Switch 2? Also the Devil May Cry one is $4.99 each which feels fake like that’s not even normal pricing.
Capcom sale is cool but I wish they’d discount the older Monster Hunter stuff more. Like I’m looking at $9.99 bundles and it’s tempting but also that Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection was $59.99?? why was it ever that high in the first place. Anyway I guess I’ll wait again until Black Friday.
