Clark and Boston lift Fever past Sky in OT

The Indiana Fever are gaining more steam. After a recent 1-3 stretch, Caitlin Clark and company have won two games in a row, following up their thrilling 78-76 win on the road over the Washington Mystics on Monday with a 114-106 overtime victory back home over the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. With Clark and Aliyah Boston each putting on a show on offense, the Fever were able to outlast the Fever, who held a six-point lead at the start of the

fourth quarter. Clark finished the contest with 32 points on 8-for-18 shooting from the field. While the former Iowa Hawkeyes star went only 1-for-6 from beyond the arc, she made up for it with a perfect night at the free-throw line. Clark drained all her 15 tries from the charity strip and added 10 assists in 40 minutes of action. Boston, on the other hand, racked up a game-high 34 points on 13-for-26 shooting from the floor, with two 3-pointers and a 6-for-6 shooting on

her freebies. Like Clark, Boston had a double-double, as she pulled down 12 rebounds in 34 minutes. With their eye-popping double-doubles, Clark and Boston accomplished something not seen before in the history of the WNBA. “What a night on the hardwood for this duo‼️Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston are the first pair of teammates in WNBA history to each have a 30-point double-double in the same game,” ESPN Insights shared via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter. The 7-5 Fever will look to

sustain their form and attempt to win their third game in a row on Saturday versus the lowly Connecticut Sun at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
