Buy Phantom Blade Zero On Epic Games Store, Get The Soul Outfit Free In Fortnite

Phantom Blade Zero has crossed over into Fortnite.

Per the game’s official account, pre-purchasing or purchasing Phantom Blade Zero on the Epic Games Store now grants the Soul Outfit, along with a matching Sanguine Pickaxe and Back Bling, in Fortnite as a free gift-with-purchase.

How to Get the Soul Outfit

Per Epic’s own FAQ page for the promotion, the Soul Outfit and Sanguine Pickaxe & Back Bling became usable in Fortnite starting August 11, 2026 at 10 PM ET, the same day this crossover was announced.

Any eligible pre-purchase or purchase of Phantom Blade Zero on the Epic Games Store qualifies, and the reward isn’t locked to PC: as long as a player’s console account is connected to the same Epic account that made the purchase, the cosmetics show up in the Fortnite Locker on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms too.

There’s a wrinkle worth knowing if you’ve already bought the outfit through Fortnite‘s own Item Shop.

In that case, qualifying for the promotion through a Phantom Blade Zero purchase instead grants a one-time 1,600 V-Bucks refund, rather than duplicating cosmetics you already own, though that refund only applies to Item Shop purchases made within the last 12 months.

It’s also worth being careful with refunds on the game itself: backing out of a Phantom Blade Zero purchase on the Epic Games Store takes back whichever reward was already given, whether it be the cosmetics or the V-Bucks.

Players who don’t want to buy the full game aren’t locked out forever, either.

Epic confirms the Soul Outfit and Sanguine Pickaxe & Back Bling will go up for direct purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop from October 29 at 8 PM ET through November 5 at 7 PM ET, a limited window rather than a permanent addition to the shop.

About Phantom Blade Zero

Phantom Blade Zero is an action RPG from Chinese studio S-GAME, built on Unreal Engine 5 as a spin-off of the developer’s Phantom Blade Executioners.

Players control Soul, an elite assassin working for a secretive organization called The Order, who is framed for murder, killed, and given just 66 days to live while he unravels the conspiracy behind his own death. Phantom Blade Zero launches October 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a $59.99 Standard Edition and a $69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition, the latter adding two exclusive outfits, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack on top of the base game.

With the Fortnite crossover already live and the Item Shop window now locked in for late October, there’s no shortage of reasons circling this release before it even launches.
