The evacuation site is no longer at the North Valleys Library and has been changed to the Evelyn Mount Community Center at 1301 Valley Road Reno.
Evacuations for all livestock can be taken to the Reno Sparks livestock event center gate number two at 1350 N. Wells Ave.
“If we do have an evacuation warning it is so important to leave,” said Deputy Chief Shannon Lewis of Truckee Meadows Fire. “If you are leaving at the last minute its gonna slow our resources down. And also you could get stuck in a traffic jam and you wont be able to get out and the fire could get close to your vehicle.”
Northbound US-395 is now open to one-way traffic near the state line. according to CHP.
