Brooks Nader cleared up months of romance rumors tied to Rocketman star Taron Egerton, saying she was never dating him and that she’s currently single while enjoying “fun dates.”

When a TMZ question followed her on the set of her upcoming Baywatch reboot TV show, the rumored connection was the subject—and her answer landed with a quick, firm snapback. “Are you still seeing Taron Egerton?” she was asked. Brooks responded, “You’re so funny. I never was.”
She followed with an update that made her current status clear: “I’m just single. Having fun.”
The correction comes after Brooks Nader and Taron Egerton were first linked romantically earlier this year. Back in March. a source said they were dating. and more fuel was added a few weeks later when Taron was photographed out to dinner with most of her family—images that reinforced the romance rumors.
But Brooks said the story never started in the first place. “Nothing,” she told the outlet. “I’m just going on fun dates. But not with anyone right now.”
Brooks’ dating history has also been in the public eye. She was very publicly linked to pro dancer Gleb Savchenko, meeting in September 2024 when they were partnered together on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars. They started dating, but eventually split for a second and final time.
With Brooks now placing distance between herself and Egerton, the earlier March reports and the family dinner photos sit in a different light—because she’s describing it all as rumor, not a relationship.
