Brooks Nader didn’t have to go far for the strangest Met Gala story in her family.
At the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party Thursday. the 29-year-old model told MISRYOUM that Grace Ann—her younger sister and the first Nader to attend the Met Gala earlier this month—was still “speechless” after the experience.. Nader said she was filming “Baywatch” in LA when the news broke and that she was struck by the fact that Grace Ann made it to the event.
What happened there, though, came with a specific kind of comedy.. Grace Ann, Nader said, ran into an A-lister in disguise at the “Costume Art”-themed ball.. Brooks recounted how her sister described being in the bathroom with a man who looked “like 90 years old” but had a younger voice. only for him to ask for her number.
Brooks then made the reveal: “it was none other than Bad Bunny in full facial prosthetics that fooled Grace Ann.” The singer, she said, asked for Grace Ann’s phone number at the ball, and Grace Ann didn’t recognize him because of the aging facial prosthetics.
