Bridget Moynahan didn’t just celebrate a graduation—she made room for the person who shares the moment.
On Sunday, June 14, the actress, 55, posted a set of photos from her son’s high school graduation to Instagram and wrote, “So proud of our boy Jack.” She continued, “We are all excited to see what you do next!” Moynahan tagged her ex, Tom Brady, 45, in the post.
She also nodded to her coparenting partnership with another ex in the mix. Moynahan tagged Brad, 48, and added the hashtags #wedidit and #proudparents.
One photo stood out in the carousel: Moynahan and Brady posed on either side of their son, both smiling for the camera. The same picture had appeared on Brady’s account one day earlier, marking the shared spotlight on John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan’s milestone.
Brady’s message came Saturday. June 13. after he watched his son “walk across the stage.” Through Instagram. the former New England Patriots quarterback wrote. “One of the proudest days of my life. watching Jack walk across the stage. and graduate into the next chapter of what’s already an impressive life.”.
He added a longer tribute that leaned into character over headlines: “You are an amazing son. brother. grandson. nephew. and friend amongst many other things. What makes me happiest is knowing who you are when no one is watching. The way you show up for your friends. The way you check on people having a hard day. The love you give our family. and the fact that you still let me win in 1v1 every once in a while.”.
Brady closed with encouragement that felt pointedly personal. “This isn’t an ending. It’s a starting line. Whatever you chase next we know you’ll find success in. Take the risks. Be kind. Be yourself. And know your family and friends are always right behind you cheering the loudest because you do the same for everybody else!. We love you.”.
Jack was born in August 2007, a year after Moynahan and Brady called it quits. Brady, 45, also has two other children—son Benjamin and daughter Vivian—with his ex-wife, model Gisele Bündchen. Bündchen and Brady divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
Bündchen has previously spoken openly about their blended family. In 2018. she told People. “I’m so grateful for [Bridget]. ” explaining that meeting Brady while Moynahan was pregnant with his first child “wasn’t ideal.” Bündchen added. “I know this was hard. but I couldn’t imagine my life without [Jack]. I call him my bonus child.”.
Moynahan, for her part, has described the relationship and the family they’ve built since. In 2019. she told People she’s happy with how things came together. saying. “Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child. but also loved our child as if he was their own.” She added. “I don’t think you can ask for more than that.”.
