On June 18. the 53-year-old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said on the episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast that she found out she has “a benign tumor in one of my lymph nodes in my face.” She connected that diagnosis to symptoms she’s been dealing with since the facial parasite returned earlier this year. telling listeners. “That could be why the fluid is going around my face. I can wear makeup for 15 minutes, then I have to take it off.”.
Glanville emphasized that the tumor is “not cancerous.” She said she received the diagnosis after noticing a lump that had been on her face for years. which led her to a dermatologist who specializes in cancer. After the doctor ran a blood test, Glanville said the results showed the tumor was benign.
“I didn’t understand. ” she said. adding that every doctor she showed the issue to responded by saying it was “just scar tissue.” Glanville pushed back on that explanation. noting. “I’m like. from what?. I haven’t had a face lift yet.” She also spoke about what she sees as dismissiveness in medicine. telling listeners. “I didn’t understand. There’s a lot of dismissing that goes on in the medical field.”.
The diagnosis landed inside a longer stretch of struggle. Glanville told the audience that she’s been on “a long three years” road to recovery from the facial parasite. Now. she said. she’s focused on getting back to the life she wants in front of the mirror—hoping to reach the point where she can “put on a ton of makeup again” and have a “glow-up” once she’s rid of the condition.
Her health troubles haven’t been the only plot twist this year. Back in April, Glanville detailed a trip to urgent care after getting garlic stuck in her ear—an episode that, for her, came amid ongoing attention to her health and what she’s been dealing with on her face.

I’ve heard of stuff like this from parasites before and it can mess with your lymph nodes, right? Also taking off makeup after 15 minutes?? That sounds horrible. Doctors saying “scar tissue” sounds lazy tbh.
