For trade crews trying to keep up with fast schedules, the problem is never just getting power—it’s getting the right kind of control at the jobsite. Bosch Power Tools is betting that the answer starts with a bigger lineup.

The company announced 39 new tools and accessories for its North American lineup. covering everything from cordless nailers and angle grinders to rotary lasers. multimeters. and specialty cutting accessories. Bosch also said the rollout marks the first wave of products carrying its new EXPERT designation. introduced as a high-output 18V platform branding in early 2026.

The EXPERT label. Bosch said. will apply to both corded and cordless tools—an attempt to frame what’s coming as more than a typical refresh. “Building on our strong pipeline of innovation. this latest introduction delivers both cordless and corded solutions that bring advanced power and precision to the jobsite. ” said Philipp Gosau. Director of Product Management for Bosch Power Tools North America. “These new products reflect direct feedback from tradespeople, helping improve efficiency, accuracy and confidence across a wide range of applications.”.

The power tool lineup is spread across multiple trades. Among the highlights are the EXPERT 18V framing nailers, available in both 21- and 30-degree configurations. Bosch said the nailers use an air-spring system instead of a compressor or fuel cell. paired with a Schrader valve that allows pressure to be topped off directly on the jobsite up to 117 PSI. The bump fire mode is rated to deliver up to three nails per second.

Bosch also introduced an EXPERT 18V 6-inch random orbit sander that uses a 3/16-inch orbit and runs in the 5,000–10,000 rpm range. The company said it comes with a HEPA-filtered dust canister and a self-cleaning mechanism.

On the corded side, the EXPERT 12-inch dual-bevel glide miter saw includes Bosch’s patented compact glide system and a shadow LED cutline indicator. Bosch lists a 13-7/16-inch horizontal cutting capacity for the saw.

The company’s 18V angle grinders—offered with either a slide switch or a no-lock-on paddle—feature six speed settings, kickback control, soft start, and an anti-vibration side handle. Bosch framed these as the kind of everyday features that matter when a tool is running for long stretches.

Bosch’s measuring tools lean into what the company calls simplicity. The new 18V green-beam rotary lasers come in horizontal-only and horizontal/vertical variants. Bosch said the horizontal/vertical models are identified as GRL18V-34K and GRL18V-34P. Those models are rated for a working range of up to 1,500 feet with ±1/16-inch accuracy at 100 feet in horizontal mode. Bosch also described a bi-color LED display that reads green for level and red for slope. The company said the lasers can run on either the 18V battery platform or standard C batteries.

For diagnostics and electrical checks, Bosch introduced a True RMS digital multimeter and a 600A clamp meter. Both are rated for IP54 or better, with rubber-reinforced housings and high-contrast displays. Bosch also debuted a non-contact voltage tester that covers 24 to 1. 000V AC with an IP67 rating and includes a continuous self-test function that checks the tool’s own operation during use.

Specialty accessory coverage includes Bosch’s GGC2550 threaded rod cutter 2-pack. Bosch said it handles quarter-inch, three-eighths-inch, and half-inch cuts in steel, plus quarter- and three-eighths-inch cuts in stainless.

Bosch described the wider EXPERT 18V platform as built on the existing trusted 18V system. using next-generation cell technology and what it calls more durable housing to deliver high power. extended runtime. and jobsite-ready durability. Bosch also emphasized compatibility for crews already using its 18V ecosystem. saying new EXPERT tools can slot in without forcing a battery swap.

A batch of 39 products landing at once is a significant volume bet. Bosch’s language about a phased rollout suggests it sees this as platform expansion rather than a one-off upgrade. The company said tools that show up on jobsites in the next twelve months will determine whether the performance meets the positioning.

  1. So EXPERT 18V is just a new label for the same stuff, right? Like how many “new platforms” do they need before it’s actually different.

  2. 117 PSI and “bump fire mode” like… okay but is that even legal/safe for regular job sites? I swear these companies always hype the speed and ignore the part where somebody’s gonna mess up.

  3. My brother said nailers only matter if they’re cordless, so why are they calling out corded and cordless like that’s a big deal. Also 21- and 30-degree configurations makes me think it’s for cabinets or something? Idk, I just want it to not jam when I borrow it from Home Depot.
