Bills’ New Highmark Stadium gets miserable MetLife Stadium comps no one should want
The Buffalo Bills will have a new home in the upcoming season with the opening of the New High Mark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The Bills held their first practice in the expansive venue on Saturday.
It was open to the public, and fans were eager to see the new stadium. The Bills were in awe upon seeing it for the first time.
The inclement weather, however, dampened the experience, as fans had to scramble for cover at the open-air field. They also noticed other issues, including a seating area with an obstructed view, which has gone viral.

Fans have compared it to MetLife Stadium of the New York Giants and the New York Jets, which is widely regarded as one of the worst venues in the NFL.

“LMAO, it’s not remotely close. This clears MetLife by a million miles,” added @Brundyy.
“Extreme MetLife vibes from all the videos and photos I’ve been seeing of the new Bills stadium,” noted @JackMac.
“For all of MetLife’s issues, there isn’t really a bad seat in the house for a football game,” claimed @nyytakes.
“MetLife hate is overrated. Sure, it’s not state of the art, but for all its flaws, obstructed views and drainage issues aren’t one of them,” echoed @BakNTheNYGroove.
MetLife Stadium was built in 2010. At that time, it was the most expensive stadium in the United States at an estimated $1.6 billion.
Meanwhile, it cost $2.2 billion to construct the New Highmark Stadium, which has a total capacity of around 66,000.
It replaced the Highmark Stadium, which was originally called the Ralph Wilson Stadium when it first became the Bills’ home field in 1973.
