After she died in early May at a hospital in Chino, California, following a fall in prison, the San Bernardino County Coroner has completed an autopsy and confirmed that her death was an accident.
Broderick’s son, Daniel Broderick, said his mother was dealing with several health issues when she fell. He also said the fall left her with broken ribs and sent her to the hospital’s intensive care unit, where septic infections developed.
Daniel said Broderick was placed on life support for a short period before doctors took her off. She was officially pronounced dead on May 8.
