Belal Muhammad Dominates Gabriel Bonfim in Unanimous Win

Belal Muhammad returned to action at the Meta Apex and put away Gabriel Bonfim with a unanimous decision, while Brendan Allen also won on the cards and several fights ended by stoppage or submission.
UFC action returned to the Meta Apex on Saturday night, and the biggest name on the bill didn’t need a late push to get the job done.
Former welterweight champion Belal Muhammad faced rising Brazilian star Gabriel Bonfim in the main event and came out with a unanimous decision, with all judges scoring it 50-45, 50-45, 50-45.
The co-main event delivered another decision as No. 4-ranked middleweight contender Brendan Allen took on unranked Edmen Shahbazyan. Allen earned the unanimous win, taking the bout 30-27, 30-27, 29-28.
As the night rolled on, the card kept shifting from wrestling-heavy control to sudden fights that didn’t last until the final bell. Tom Nolan got past Fares Ziam by unanimous decision, 29-28, 29-28, 29-28.
Bryce Mitchell turned the momentum in the late stages, forcing Santiago Luna into submission via an arm-triangle choke at 4:52 of Round 3.
Early finishes defined the rest of the violence. Iwo Baraniewski stopped Junior Tafa with a technical knockout at 1:25 of Round 1, while Alessandro Costa dropped Matt Schnell with a technical knockout at 2:32 of Round 1.
Marcus McGhee also handled his opponent with a decision, defeating John Yannis 30-27, 30-27, 29-28.
Submissions then took over the event’s tempo in Round 1. Edgar Chairez tapped Bruno Silva with a rear-naked choke at 4:13 of Round 1, and Chelsea Chandler submitted Priscila Cachoeira with an armbar at 3:42 of Round 1.
Joanderson Brito added another quick tap, submitting Jordan Leavitt with a front choke at 4:19 of Round 1.
Not every fight ended quickly, but Jeisla Chaves still left with the verdict, defeating Yuneisy Duben by split decision: 29-28, 28-29, 29-28.
Ketlen Souza closed out the night’s list of stoppages with a KO at 1:34 of Round 1 over Ariane Carnelossi.
The final scoreboard reflected a card built on contrasts—clean decision work at the top, then submissions and knockouts across the undercard that kept the pace sharp from start to finish.
