Beats 360 leak tells you everything about the headphones

The Beats 360 have leaked yet again, with retailer listings detailing practically all of the important features of the over-ear headphones.
When it comes to product launches from the Apple-owned Beats by Dre, it’s usually one that has already been leaked multiple times. A lot of the leaks are carefully managed promotions, such as providing them to soccer players during the World Cup, but sometimes they are completely unplanned.
The latest leak comes from Reddit users, who found what are known as the Beats 360 on UK retail sites, including Amazon UK. However, after being found, they were taken down.
The listings included the typical details about an Apple or Beats product, which practically gave a complete rundown on the personal audio hardware.
For a start, the headphones have a rounder design than the current Beats Studio Pro, as previously seen in the Instagram photos. The ear cups have a mesh fabric reminiscent of AirPods Max, as well as a headband cushion using the material.
Both the ear cups and the headband are replaceable and can be changed for other color versions. The initial cushions will be Performance Knit, with an UltraPlush variant also expected.
The headphones fold flat for transport, complete with a woven ripstop fabric case. The box will also include a quick-start guide and warranty card, with cushion kits, USB-C charging cables, and chargers sold separately.
An extensive features leak
When it comes to actual features, the leak covers pretty much everything you could want to know. That includes an apparent claim they will be the first Beats over-ear headphones with sweat and water resistance.
It will have a high-fidelity acoustic platform, made for low distortion across the tonal range, as well as a powerful bass. ANC will be up to 1.75 times better than the Beats Studio Pro, and you can expect transparency modes too.
The smart elements continue with Personalized Spatial Audio support with dynamic head tracking. As usual for Beats, there will also be one-touch pairing supporting both iOS and Android.
AI has been used to train an algorithm to maintain call quality, which will be aided by beamforming microphones and background noise filtering.
Battery life will last all day, including if you have ANC turned on throughout.
The Beats 360 is expected to start from $299 in the U.S., with color options including Black, Cloud, Navy, Pink, Sky, and Volt.
It is unknown when the Beats 360 will launch. However, the existence of retail listings reported by MacRumors indicates it will be sooner rather than later.
