Beatrice and Eugenie invited as Andrew stays out

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are expected to attend cousin Peter Phillips’ wedding to Harriet Sperling on June 6, while their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and mother, Sarah Ferguson, are not on the guest list amid the Epstein scandal fallout.

For Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the road back into public view looks like it runs straight through a church wedding.

Both sisters have been invited to the next British royal wedding. with their cousin Peter Phillips set to marry National Health Service nurse Harriet Sperling on June 6 at All Saints’ Church in Kemble. in England’s Gloucestershire region. The ceremony is expected to be private, but several senior royals are expected to attend.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are expected to be there, along with Princess Anne and Zara Tindall—Phillips’ aunt and mother, respectively. The guest list is also expected to include Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

Beatrice and Eugenie are expected to make what is described as their first major royal family appearance since renewed scrutiny over their parents’ ties to predator Jeffrey Epstein intensified.

Their scandal-scarred parents—Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson—are not expected to be invited.

That decision lands in a family still absorbing major changes: the former Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles and removed from Royal Lodge, the Crown Estate home he shared long shared with Fergie despite their 1996 divorce. In the months since, Beatrice and Eugenie have kept a low profile.

The latest report says the sisters have not visited their father since he was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The arrest followed weeks after the U.S. Department of Justice released emails suggesting he passed sensitive government documents to Epstein while serving as Britain’s trade envoy.

A source says the king has long wanted his nieces to remain connected to the family. The same source framed the wedding as a chance to bring Beatrice and Eugenie back—without dragging the family event into the spotlight of the most painful headlines.

“The royal family needs good news and nothing unites like a big church wedding,” the source said. “Beatrice is going and Eugenie is in the second trimester of her [third] pregnancy but hopes to attend.”

“The king always wanted both to remain part of the family,” the source added. “He made it clear they are welcome at family events.”

The wedding is also expected to bring senior royals together from across the family tree—at least on paper. Other major figures, however, are reportedly staying away.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not expected to attend. HELLO! reported that Harry was not invited because he and Phillips have drifted apart.

A friend of the bride and groom told HELLO!. magazine that Prince Andrew and Ferguson were left off the guest list because their presence would be “a distraction” amid the Epstein scandal. The same friend said. “Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch. so he hasn’t been invited.”.

Phillips and Sperling’s relationship began publicly in May 2024, with the engagement announced in August 2025. Phillips was previously married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 to 2021, and the couple have two teenage daughters, Savannah and Isla. Sperling was previously married to fitness instructor Antonio St. John Sperling, and they share a teen daughter, Georgina.

All eyes now turn to whether Beatrice’s attendance becomes the statement the invitation is meant to deliver—and whether Eugenie. described as being in the second trimester of her third pregnancy. can make it to the church steps in Kemble as the family tries to move forward without forgetting what pulled it apart.
