Kuier has been playing in the WNBA since 2021, going through her fourth season with the Wings. This year has seen her earn the most playing time in her career, shining as a key player in Dallas’ rotation.

In 36 minutes of action, Kuier flourished on the defensive side of the ball. She finished with a stat line of 11 points, eight rebounds, seven blocks, four assists, and one steal. She shot 4-of-8 from the field, including 2-of-6 from beyond the arc, and 1-of-2 from the free-throw line. Her remarkable blocking efforts ended up making franchise history, per ESPN Insights.

Four players scored in double-digits for Dallas in the win, including Kuier. Arike Ogunbowale led the team with a stat line of 32 points, three assists, two rebounds, and one steal. She shot 12-of-22 overall, including 2-of-6 from downtown, and 6-of-7 from the charity stripe. Jessica Shepard came next with 26 points and eight rebounds, while Paige Bueckers had 13 points and eight assists.

Dallas improved to a 21-16 record on the season, sitting at fourth place in the Western Conference standings. They are above the Portland Fire and the Phoenix Mercury while trailing the Las Vegas Aces and the Golden State Valkyries.

The Wings will look forward to their next matchup, remaining at home. They host the Seattle Storm as tip-off takes place on Aug. 23 at 4 p.m. ET.
