Atlanta Regional schedule reshuffled after rain delay

After rain postponed Game Two of the NCAA Division I Baseball Atlanta Regional between Oklahoma and The Citadel, the Saturday schedule at Georgia Tech’s Mac Nease Baseball Park and Russ Chandler Stadium was altered. Tickets will carry over for the moved start

Rain changed the day at Georgia Tech’s Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium—so the Atlanta Regional calendar did, too.

Game Two of the NCAA Division I Baseball Atlanta Regional between Oklahoma and The Citadel was postponed after rain. Saturday’s slate now runs three games, with the tournament adjusting on the fly to keep the bracket moving.

The new Saturday schedule begins at 10 a.m., with Game 2: Oklahoma vs. The Citadel. At 2 p.m., Game 3 will be played, featuring the loser of the OU-CIT matchup against UIC. The night game follows at 6 p.m. for Game 4, pitting the winner of OU-CIT against Georgia Tech.

Tickets are being honored across the shift. Tickets for Friday night’s postponed game will be honored for Saturday’s 10 a.m. game. Tickets for the game originally scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday will be honored for Saturday’s 2 p.m. game. For the Georgia Tech winners’ bracket contest scheduled for Saturday night at 6 p.m., tickets and game time remain unchanged.

Between each game, the stadium will be cleared.

Gates will open for Saturday’s 10 a.m. game at 9 a.m. For the rest of the day, gates will open for the final two games no later than 45 minutes before first pitch.

Television designations for Saturday’s games are TBA.
