Arsenal trophy parade set for May 31, after CL win

Arsenal trophy – Arsenal will begin their Premier League trophy parade at 2pm on Sunday, May 31, with festivities planned for less than a day after their Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest. The timing comes as they ended a 22-year league title wait

Arsenal’s title celebrations are already being sketched in pencil—tight enough that fans will have to sprint for home.

The Premier League trophy parade is set to begin at 2pm on Sunday, May 31. The date is deliberately compressed, scheduled for less than 24 hours after Arsenal’s Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain finishes.

The timing follows the dramatic end to the Gunners’ 22-year wait for the league title on Tuesday night. Bournemouth’s draw with Manchester City gave Arsenal an unassailable lead at the top, turning the north London club’s season into something far bigger than just a title run.

Now the prospect is even louder: if Arsenal overcome PSG next Saturday, they will have two trophies to display in what would be the greatest season in the club’s 140-year history.

The outline of how the celebration could look is already familiar. Two seasons ago. Arsenal’s parade started at the Emirates Stadium. with a bus moving along Drayton Park. Aubert Park. Highbury Grove. St Paul’s Road. Upper Street. and back to the stadium. For this year’s potential parade. the route has not yet been confirmed. but it is again expected to start and finish at the Emirates Stadium.

For fans, the schedule may be the hardest part to manage. Arsenal supporters will be able to celebrate their team only hours after the Champions League final, but they will still face the pressure of getting back home in time.

The late night logistics hit the players too. Mikel Arteta’s team won’t return to England from Budapest until the early hours of the morning on May 31. It’s the same dilemma supporters face—just folded into a more punishing timetable.

And behind the tight window is the World Cup turnaround. The delay is due to the short turnaround for players to join their countries. Thomas Tuchel’s England squad are due to meet up on Monday, June 1, before flying to the United States. Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, and Ben White are among those who could be included.

The sequence is simple: the league title was secured on Tuesday night after Bournemouth drew with Manchester City, and the trophy parade is now pencilled in for May 31—right on the edge of the Champions League and the World Cup calendar.

  1. So they’re doing the parade less than a day after the Champions League final?? Sounds stressful, like why rush it. Also Arsenal will probably mess up the route again.

  2. Wait I thought the Champions League final was in England? Budapest throws me off. And if Bournemouth drew Man City, doesn’t that mean Man City still won the league or something? I’m confused but congrats I guess.

  3. The article says the route isn’t confirmed but it’s expected to start at the Emirates like every other time… so like what’s even the point of “not confirmed.” Also World Cup turnaround, flyers, players meeting Monday June 1… sounds like everyone’s gonna be jet lagged and still packed in the street.
