Ariat’s new Beaux western boot just convinced me to start wearing cowboy boots

I’ve always admired; in fact, I used to wear them at one point in my life. I haven’t slipped on a pair in years, but now I’m eyeing Ariat’s new Beaux Western Boot, and I have feeling I’m not the only one.
The launch
Ariat dropped what could be its most famous boot yet — the Beaux J Toe Western Boot. The bow-inspired cowboy boot retails for $240, and you can grab it in eight colors, which are already starting to sell out.
Why I fell in love with Ariat’s Beaux boot
The Beaux Boot is part of Ariat’s new Tailgate Ready Collection, which also includes tees, sweatshirts, jeans and other boot styles. But the real star of the collection is the Beaux Boot, as it’s as sweet as could be, and will literally be the shoe that ties every outfit together with a “bow.”
Featuring a cascading full-grain leather ribbon that flows down the side of the boot and wraps around the pull holes, the Beaux Boot is the “it” style that Ariat fans are already clamoring for, especially in the crimson-and-ivory design.
New to western wear? You’re not alone. The Ariat Beaux Boot is an easy-to-wear look that you can slip on with jeans, shorts or even a skirt and, as Ariat suggests, wear it to that tailgate party or for a night out with the girls.
The Beaux Boot has a stacked 2.75-inch New West heel that elongates the legs and a J-style toe. The boot integrates a leather lining and has a comfortable fit that incorporates a cushioned insole that’s similar to the shock-absorbing nature of an athletic sneaker.
Should I size up or down in Ariat boots?
Ariat says its boots run true to size and it is confident in the sizing tools it offers. This is a step-by-step questionnaire that determines whether you are purchasing the right size shoe for your feet.
For the Beaux Boot, Ariat offers medium- and wide-width sizes, so you can choose a more customized fit. Sizes range from women’s 5.5 to 11.
Still unsure of your boot size? Ariat offers free and easy exchanges if they don’t fit.
Do real cowboys wear Ariat boots?
Yes, real cowboys wear Ariat boots, especially the brand’s work boot styles like the famous WorkHog ($200) and Groundbreaker ($160). Cowboys and cowgirls also wear boot styles from western brands like Tecovas and Lucchese.
