Anker Liberty – Anker’s Liberty 5 Pro earbuds go on sale starting today for $169.99, bringing a new AI chip aimed at stronger noise reduction, clearer calls, and faster responses to built-in voice commands. The charging case gets an easier-to-reach, larger external LCD touchs

When Anker says its next earbuds are smarter at blocking the noise around you, it isn’t talking about another incremental tweak. The Liberty 5 Pro arriving today is built around a new AI chip — the first in Anker’s earbuds designed to boost noise reduction.

The Liberty 5 Pro are available starting today for $169.99 in blue, white, black, and pink. They keep the charging case LCD touchscreen idea from the previous generation. but Anker moved the screen to the outside for easier access and made it larger. measuring 0.96 inches. That touchscreen isn’t just for show: it can adjust ANC levels or turn on transparency mode.

There’s a trade-off. Adding Anker’s new AI chip comes with a small hit to battery life, with up to 6.5 hours of listening with ANC turned on. With the charging case, that stretches to up to 28 hours total.

Anker says the AI chip delivers improvements in other areas. It claims ANC is 100 percent more effective than the Liberty 4 Pro. and that voice clarity during calls improves by reducing background noise. It also says responses to 20 built-in voice commands are faster. Volume, playback, and ANC modes can be controlled just by asking.

For people willing to pay more, Anker also announced the Liberty 5 Pro Max, now available for $229.99 in black or titanium-gold. Like the standard Liberty 5 Pro. they promise the same battery life and include an IP55 dust and water resistance rating. plus support for Apple’s Find My network. The big difference is the charging case display: the Pro Max adds a much larger 1.78-inch AMOLED screen on top.

That AMOLED display can be used to adjust settings and control playback. The Pro Max charging case also adds recording features: it can record conversations and meetings. Those recordings are shared to and processed by the Soundcore app on a smartphone. where transcripts are generated and action items are highlighted with each speaker identified.

It’s a familiar shape for Anker’s audio line — more control on the case, more automation in the earbuds — but this time the point of emphasis is clear. The Liberty 5 Pro’s AI chip is meant to make noise reduction tighter, calls cleaner, and voice commands quicker, even if it costs a bit of runtime.
