Andy Pages surges past Dodgers stars in NL outfield votes

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages has become a surprise force in National League outfield voting, leading NL outfielders in fan totals as the first phase closes. His rise comes as fellow Dodgers and other big names look to move on to the June 25 runoff

When baseball fans cast their first wave of All-Star votes, Andy Pages looked ready to be a footnote. Instead, the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder has emerged as the one name standing out among National League outfielders.

Pages was the leading vote-getter among NL outfielders when MLB released its first fan vote totals on June 15. At 25 years old, he’s also one of six Dodgers on track to advance to the second round of voting on June 25—and the only one of that group who has never appeared in an All-Star Game before.

The version of Pages fans are voting for is not the one who batted his way out of the starting lineup last October as his Dodgers teammates marched to a second consecutive World Series championship. This season, he’s doing the kind of damage that changes how a lineup is supposed to look. Pages leads the National League in RBIs with 56, while slashing .273/.319/.498 as the Dodgers’ everyday center fielder.

In the postseason, the numbers haven’t been blank slates, either. Pages finished with four hits in 55 plate appearances in the 2025 postseason.

The vote count also shows how crowded the picture is behind him. Designated hitter Shohei Ohtani leads all players with 1,165,133 total votes. Shortstop Mookie Betts is second. and third baseman Max Muncy. first baseman Freddie Freeman. catcher Will Smith. and outfielder Teoscar Hernández are also in position to advance to the runoff.

Beyond the Dodgers, the leaderboard at other positions includes Atlanta Braves catcher Drake Baldwin and second baseman Ozzie Albies, along with Washington Nationals shortstop CJ Abrams.

Pages’ momentum comes during a broader stretch where postseason teams often gain traction with voters the following year. The Dodgers’ title run has helped keep the attention on their roster—yet even among that spotlight, Pages is drawing something different.

Hyeseong Kim is one example. The second baseman was recently optioned to Triple-A with a .651 OPS (84 OPS+), but he is fourth in fan voting—ahead of several more established starters at the position.

For the outfield, the structure is clear: the top six vote-getters advance to the second phase of voting. For now, that group includes Pages, Hernández, Braves outfielders Ronald Acuña Jr. and Michael Harris, St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker, and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for July 14 in Philadelphia.

As the June 25 runoff approaches, Pages’ lead among NL outfielders doesn’t just signal a fan favorite taking hold—it marks a sharp turn from last season’s uncertainty into a role fans are increasingly unwilling to look past.

  1. They said he wasn’t even gonna be a thing and now he’s leading in outfield votes?? Makes me think fans just vote whoever they saw highlights of. RBIs 56 sounds good though I guess.

  2. I don’t buy it, like isn’t the “outfield votes” part just based on name recognition. Pages still hasn’t been an All-Star right? That’s crazy that Ohtani is above everybody too, so how does that even work.

  3. Pages getting all these votes but the article keeps talking about 2025 postseason like it’s current? Also Dodgers always loaded, so why is he the surprise and not Betts or Freeman? I guess June 25 runoff is when they’ll fix it… probably.
