Amanda Batula Leaves Summer House After West Wilson Drama

Amanda Batula will not return to “Summer House” after 10 seasons, following backlash tied to her relationship with castmate West Wilson—who was already ousted from the show. Her exit comes as Bravo aired the “Summer House” reunion across May 26, June 2, and Ju

Amanda Batula won’t be back on “Summer House.” After 10 seasons on Bravo’s Hamptons soap, the reality star is set to exit in the wake of controversy tied to her relationship with castmate West Wilson—an arrangement that also left her best friend in the house, Ciara Miller, stuck in the middle.

The news has been building since Wilson’s own exit from the show. Fans had already suspected Batula wouldn’t return after the backlash that followed her sparking a romance with Wilson. despite the fact that Miller and Wilson had an on-again-off-again history that existed before all of this spilled into living-room and camera-time.

Batula was an original cast member, joining “Summer House” with her then-boyfriend and ex-husband Kyle Cooke for Season 1. Over the years. she became part of the tight-knit daily rhythm of the cast—especially since the group lives together in a summer house in the Hamptons. That close quarters didn’t offer much room for boundaries once Batula’s relationship with Wilson became public.

The relationship itself took center stage in late March, right after Batula’s separation announcement from Cooke. Batula and Wilson shared they were exploring a romantic connection. and in a joint statement the pair said their “connection grew out of a genuine. long-standing friendship.” Since then. they have continued to double down on the relationship. even traveling to Europe recently.

Their story quickly landed in familiar reality-TV territory. Fans compared the fallout to “Vanderpump Rules,” specifically the widely discussed Scandoval betrayal involving Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

For Miller, the tension wasn’t theoretical. Because the cast is required to live and film together. the drama reportedly made it hard for Miller to remain cordial with Wilson and Batula. The situation became increasingly uncomfortable—less about headlines. more about what happens when the same people share the same house and the same schedule.

Batula and Wilson half-heartedly confirmed their relationship on March 31 with a joint Instagram post.

At the same time, the show’s production timeline has been anything but quiet. The announcement arrives after “Summer House” wrapped up its three-part reunion, which rolled out across May 26, June 2, and June 9. The reaction from the fanbase was so intense that Bravo added one more episode: “Summer House: The Aftermath. ” airing on June 16.

Batula’s exit also lands amid uncertainty about who else will return for “Summer House” Season 11. Bravo has not confirmed the main cast for the new season. and it remains unclear whether Miller or Cooke will be back. One person with knowledge of the show says Batula’s return doesn’t make sense given the nature of the series.

For now, “Summer House” is left with a bigger question than casting: what the house—and the audience—will look like once Batula and Wilson’s relationship no longer gets to play out on-camera in the very same rooms that made the drama so explosive.

  1. Wait so West got kicked and Amanda still left too? Sounds like everyone was guilty or Bravo just doing damage control.

  2. I didn’t even know she was still on for 10 seasons. So the “backlash” was just the romance? Like people act like they don’t date coworkers lol.

  3. So Ciara was stuck in the middle… but wasn’t Ciara the one who made it weird first? Idk the article says on/off history existed before, but somehow everyone’s blaming Amanda like it started yesterday.

  4. This whole thing feels like that Scandoval comparison they keep bringing up. Like if Bravo had to chase drama, they’d just manufacture it again. Traveling to Europe doesn’t sound like a crime though, maybe she’s leaving because the reunion didn’t go her way.
