The first thing passengers notice in Seattle is the door that doesn’t feel like part of the ordinary airport flow.
Alaska Airlines has opened a new exclusive check-in lobby for Suites and Atmos Titanium guests in Seattle, designed to give a seamless start to the journey. The lobby includes a dedicated entrance to TSA and is available to immediate family or up to two guests on the same reservation.
It’s not just a new room, either. Dedicated Suites and Titanium member check-in lanes are also rolling out across Alaska’s key hubs soon, including Anchorage, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and internationally in Rome, Tokyo and Seoul. London is starting today, with Reykjavík to follow.
For travelers heading to Reykjavík, Alaska is pairing that smoother beginning with an elevated onboard experience on flights operated on a Boeing 737-8 MAX.
First Class guests will receive plush Filson-designed blankets. along with pillows and a Filson travel amenity kit filled with Salt & Stone products. Main Cabin guests. meanwhile. will get a complimentary meal service that includes a hot main. small salad and dessert. with vegetarian options available. Premium Class guests can choose from Alaska’s new Premium Snack Basket to complement their meal.
The food is matched with drinks. Guests will also see a curated lineup of West Coast beverages, including both non-alcoholic and alcoholic options such as the Cloud Cruiser IPA from Fremont Brewing of Seattle or Canoe Ridge Chardonnay from Walla Walla, WA.
Connectivity is part of the promise, too—especially for the flight to Reykjavík. Alaska is currently installing its entire 737-8 MAX fleet with ultra-fast Wi-Fi so guests can stay connected on their way to Reykjavík, with the service complimentary thanks to T-Mobile and powered by Starlink.
Alaska says it recently became the first airline in the world to equip its entire regional fleet with Starlink. It also expects to go further with Hawaiian Airlines: the two carriers will become the first U.S. carrier to offer Starlink on 100% of its wide-body fleet this fall. when installation of Starlink is complete on its Dreamliner fleet.
Atmos Rewards members will see another connectivity layer at the gates and beyond. The program includes gate-to-gate connectivity that enables streaming, browsing and messaging throughout the journey. Membership is free, and it allows guests to earn miles for future travel on Alaska and its oneworld partner airlines.
The international push is where everything converges. With new service to Rome, London and Reykjavík, Alaska is bringing expanded international routes alongside a broader combined network with Hawaiian Airlines.
These investments. taken together—from the exclusive Seattle lobby and member check-in lanes to onboard meals. Wi-Fi powered by Starlink. and the connectivity built into Atmos Rewards—are framed as a new chapter in Alaska’s global growth. The goal is to connect guests to more of the world with “comfort and care,” the Alaska way.
And for passengers who notice the details, the message is clear from the first step: the airline is trying to make the airport itself feel like the start of the trip.
