Akbar V Claims Titles, Then Teases Drake Love

Akbar V sparked a fresh wave of speculation on X after calling herself “the princess of Rap” and “Queen Of Atlanta,” while sharing freestyles packed with punchlines about industry relationships and women in rap. The chatter quickly turned into debates about wh
Akbar V didn’t ease into her latest moment—she opened her Sunday on X with a bold claim that instantly lit up timelines.
“I’m the princess of Rap……and Queen Of Atlanta.” She followed it up with, “Lyrically who can f*** with me … I’m really Ms. Pen Griffey.” Then came the freestyles, each one landing with captions that kept the internet guessing who—if anyone—was the real target.
In one clip, Akbar V sampled T.I.’s “Rubber Band Man,” posting, “How it feel to be a n***a six pick.” In another, she shared a freestyle with the caption, “This the time i get my lick back cause i been owing yall b****** like Tasha K.”
Her verses leaned hard into drama, relationships, and payback. One line reads. “B*** ask am i the drama no bye Felicia your the friday.” Another went. “they been bouncing this b*** like a ball. but it didn’t count for sh** when it got passed to Klay.” She also added a direct challenge in her bars: “Show us you really big mama if you can make leave his wife today show us you can post a pic with him like im out eating lunch with my hubby today.”.
Those lyrics were enough to send fans and social media users into overdrive, with many wondering whether Akbar V was taking shots at Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, and other female rappers.
The speculation didn’t cool off when she later posted again on X. this time sharing a photo of GloRilla’s sister. Victoria Woods—also known as B-Rilla. In the caption. Akbar V wrote: “B***s will sell they soul for 2500 and a fake Cuban chain / if i send you a pic of a low cut lil titty stud just know you ain’t use to things … ran 2 Atlanta freestyle link in my bio click it.”.
While the internet tried to decode the shots, the reaction split in a familiar way—people debated her right to claim those titles, and whether the bars were pointed or simply playful.
Instagram user @jaihenry_ wrote, “A shot at Meg and a shot at latto ?!. 2 women who careers and life is wayyyyy more better then yours?. That’s where you went wrong at Imfao I wouldn’t even respond it’s giving peasant.” @nea_naee added. “Imagine coming for a pregnant girl that ain’t even bothering youre weird for that akbar i must not be getting attention at home Imfao.”.
Other comments leaned more toward defending her craft. @chongkenny wrote, “Yall taking her for a joke in the comments 😂 but akbar can actually rap lyrically and use punchlines.” @the_curly_rican_0 challenged the conversation with, “Name 5 Akbar V songs with a gun to yo head …. BOW YOUR DEAD 😭😭😭😭😭.”
But not everyone was letting the moment slide. @queen__cobain wrote. “Lol mind y’all regardless of whatever Akbar talking bout. y’all in the comments defending a girl who’s with a married man and had a baby with him but can’t be seen with him in public 😂 y’all have truly lost the plot.” And @winnie.daboo chimed in. “I see a lot of women in the comments defending side chick behavior. It’s all fun and games until it’s YOUR husband.”.
There were also remarks about her personal life and how it affects public perception. @she2real4fake1s wrote, “Ng| she is talented, however, her antics, husband/ baby daddy drama and the way she carries herself on social media are what’s keeping people from taking her serious.”
Even as the debate raged on, Akbar V changed gears and pulled focus to Drake—after he released three new projects.
She took to Instagram with a photo showing her hugged up with Drake, writing, “Baby father you are exactly who you think u is … you are himothy @champagnepapi where everybody at that jump ship nawl stay over there cause im still with the same … yeah act like it.”
Then she turned back to X to continue backing him through the criticism, posting, “Everybody had so much to say bout drake i was the only female staying down through the rough times and now yall trying to jump ship nawl we good over here.”
Akbar V’s latest stretch of posts left two strong impressions at once: a set of bars meant to provoke conversation, and a clear message that she plans to keep showing loyalty—whether the timeline is arguing about rap titles or reacting to Drake’s newest releases.

who is Akbar V even tho? sounds like a bunch of rap twitter beef lol
So she’s “Princess of Rap” and “Queen of Atlanta” but then she’s talking like she wants everybody to pick sides? Klay? like basketball Klay Thompson? I’m lost. Drake love?? feels like clickbait.
Nah I think she’s actually going at Drake, not whoever them Atlanta girls are. The “love” in the title gotta mean something. And that “leave his wife today” line is wild, like why yall all rapping about cheating instead of music.
I don’t even know if she’s talking about Latto or Megan but it’s like… every other day somebody posting a sister pic and it’s “evidence” 🙄. Also “Ms. Pen Griffey”?? that sounds like she made it up bc Pen Griffey is baseball right? anyway the industry women in rap always have drama and then pretend it’s just lyrics
