AI is gonna make cities all weird now.
So basically energy prices and AI mean people move around and real estate follows? Sounds like every other article lol. But “demographics” is always the excuse.
I think this is saying Colliers is gonna buy up all the buildings because of AI and energy. Like, if they have $109 billion in assets then that’s basically the whole economy right? Not sure how that connects, but I’m sure it’s gonna drive up rent.
“Business hubs” shifting makes sense but half this reads like PR. They mention engineering and commercial real estate like it’s all one thing. Also 24,000 professionals… are they talking about jobs being replaced by AI or just more headcount? The energy part confuses me too, like what energy? Gas? Electricity? It’s probably about something else entirely.
