Acer’s Nitro Blaze Link brings PC games to a 7-inch hand

Acer Nitro – Acer showed the Nitro Blaze Link at Computex: a 7-inch, 464-gram handheld companion meant to stream games from existing gaming PCs over Wi‑Fi, launching in North America and EMEA in Q4 2026. Alongside it, Acer also unveiled two Predator gaming laptops designed
At Computex, Acer didn’t just bring another handheld to the show floor—it brought a promise that gamers could feel immediately: their PC library, carried in the palm.
The company’s newest device is the Nitro Blaze Link. a companion handheld intended to connect to an existing Acer gaming PC setup so you can play and stream games over Wi‑Fi. The pitch is simple, but the hardware isn’t small. The Nitro Blaze Link uses a 7-inch touchscreen and weighs 464 grams—about 1.02 pounds—making it light enough to actually treat like a travel gaming option rather than a bulky accessory.
Acer says the Nitro Blaze Link will be available in North America and EMEA sometime in the fourth quarter of 2026. Pricing hasn’t been shared yet.
It’s also not arriving alone. Acer unveiled two new Predator gaming laptops that can sync up with the Nitro Blaze Link: the Predator Helios and the Nitro 16.
The Predator Helios is positioned as the flagship. with an 18-inch Mini LED display that can run HD resolution at 240 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. depending on whether performance or immersion is the priority. Acer’s top configuration includes up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. Storage support is designed to match the current reality of bigger game installs, with the machine topping out at 6TB.
The Nitro 16 takes a different route—still aimed at gamers, but positioned as the more budget-friendly option. Its highest-end version is built around an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU and an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor.
Both laptops are slated to land in the North American market in August, though Acer hasn’t released pricing for either model.
And it’s not the first time Acer has leaned into handheld gaming. The company also introduced another, beefier option in the Predator Atlas 8 in March, suggesting this is a segment Acer wants to build momentum in—not just test once.

7 inches?? that’s basically a Kindle with attitude lol
So it streams from your gaming PC over Wi‑Fi, right? I feel like Wi‑Fi is gonna make this lag for everyone unless they have like NASA internet.
464 grams is “light” but it still sounds like it’ll be heavy and expensive. Also why would you need this if you already have a Steam Deck? Seems like marketing to me.
Q4 2026… by then the RTX 5090 will be old news 😂 plus 4K at 120Hz on an 18-inch Mini LED sounds fake unless it’s only 4K for like 3 games. I’ll believe it when it’s on sale and not just “announced at Computex.”
