vision, despite very little management experience. The 35-year-old retired from playing earlier this year and had a brief caretaker spell in charge of Cardiff in 2025. He drew two and lost one of his three games as interim boss at the end of the Championship season. Oxford were relegated from the Championship to League One last season after finishing third-bottom in 22nd place, four points from safety. More to follow.

Wait Ramsey already managed Cardiff right? I thought he was just injured half the time or something. If he only did 3 games then that’s not exactly a proven plan… but Arsenal legend I guess means something?
Oxford keeps changing coaches like it’s a rotating shift. Matt Bloomfield leaves and then boom Ramsey… I don’t see how this fixes being 4 points from safety either, that’s wild. Also 2026/27 on the Sky app?? like why do they shove that in every sports post now. Hope it works but seems like they’re rushing it.
