50 Cent is not letting up on Sean “Diddy” Combs.
On Saturday, July 25, the “Candy Shop” rapper continued the feud during a performance at LIV Beach in Las Vegas. The latest dig comes days after the music mogul was reportedly placed in solitary confinement following an alleged fight in prison.
“You coulda been anywhere, you picked being here. Thank you. You coulda been anywhere … and four d**** with Puffy in the box,” he told the crowd.
Prison fight
Last week, TMZ reported that Combs was involved in a physical altercation with another inmate at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
According to the outlet, the fight broke out after the other inmate made an insulting comment about the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper.
A source told TMZ that Combs “held his own” in the scuffle, which reportedly started with a push before escalating to punches. Prison staff eventually stepped in to break up the fight.
Solitary confinement
It’s unclear if Combs — who could face disciplinary action as a result of the fight — is still in solitary confinement.
A spokesperson for FCI Fort Dix declined to confirm or deny the altercation, telling TMZ, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody. Such information would not be available for the public domain.”
Combs’ release date was recently moved up to February 23, 2028, but the prison incident could potentially push it back.
Sean Combs’ prison sentence
It’s been almost a year since Combs was convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution under the Mann Act. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and trafficking, which could have sent him to prison for life.
After the trial, 50 Cent released Sean Combs: The Reckoning, a four-part Netflix documentary about the disgraced mogul.
50 had announced the series in 2024, writing on social media, “I been telling y’all about all this weird s***, I don’t do NO puffy party’s. you didn’t believe me but I bet you believe me now!”
The feud
50 Cent and Combs have been feuding for nearly two decades.
Their rivalry started in 2006 when 50 released “The Bomb,” a diss track that alleged Combs was connected to the 1997 killing of The Notorious B.I.G.
Over the years, 50 Cent has continued to speak out about Combs while defending his decision to do so. “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t,” he previously told People. “It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years.”
“Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff, but away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style,’” he added.
