27 new restaurants sprout near Memorial Tournament grounds

From a diner in Bridge Park to revolving sushi on the Northwest Side, 27 new restaurants opened near Dublin, Ohio, since May 2025—bringing fresh breakfast, cocktail, pizza, and all-you-can-eat options within 10 miles of Muirfield Village for the 2026 Memorial

The Memorial Tournament always brings a kind of hunger you can feel in the air—between practice rounds and late tee times, people start scanning for what’s nearby, what’s open, and what doesn’t require another long drive.

Tickets for the 2026 Memorial Tournament are still available for the dates June 4–7 at Muirfield Village. Single-day tickets cost $20, weekly tickets are $336, and Golden Bear Club tickets are $446. Free parking is available, too.

With visitors arriving in Dublin. Ohio. and neighboring areas like Powell and the Northwest Side of Columbus. a new dining guide is mapping what’s arrived since the last Memorial Tournament in May 2025. The list counts 27 new restaurants that have opened in and around the Muirfield Village Golf Club—within 10 miles of the course—and it’s built for people who want breakfast. cocktails. pizza. or all-you-can-eat meals without getting stuck in traffic.

One of the biggest changes for morning plans is the growing diner-and-coffee scene. HangOverEasy serves breakfast “in any form you crave,” including ramen—bacon broth with bacon, noodles, mushrooms, onion, and an egg. It’s the seventh location of the Columbus chain, and it opened May 2 at 6757 Longshore St. in Dublin’s Bridge Park area. In Powell, 3 Brothers Diner opened its second location in December at 345 W. Olentangy St. offering breakfast. lunch. and dinner with Mexican. American. and Cuban influences that can show up in items like enchiladas Benedict or fajita burgers.

When the tournament day stretches toward evening. the guide leans into places for a drink—starting with two downtown Dublin revivals that both opened in September. Apothecary Bourbon & Cigar Lounge at 30 S. High St. pairs a curated offering of more than 70 bourbons with cigars for sale. humidified lockers for rent. and a policy that customers can bring their own cigars. Next door, Uncorked Wine Tastings at 32 S. High St. uses a dispensing system meant to keep wines at their ideal temperatures and serves accurate pours of 1.5. 3. or 6 ounces. with bottles available as well.

For a coffee-and-beer crossover, Barrel & Bloom opens at 8 a.m. daily and keeps its day going late, with coffee service, a full espresso bar, and then beer, wine, and cocktails. In Shawnee Hills, Bridge’s End Brewing Co. opened in May 2025 at 9320 Dublin Road. The 9. 000-square-foot brewery. taproom. and restaurant is run by Bill Schirmer—described as a gastrointestinal surgeon turned craft brewer—and serves 10 of its own beers on tap. including German ales. pilsners. and Kölsch-style brews.

Powell’s social scene gets a new rooftop option too: Lani Rooftop Lounge opened in April at 50 E. Olentangy St. The guide describes it as Powell’s first rooftop bar—small and laid-back—sitting atop a remote-working office but open to all. with indoor and outdoor seating and a menu that folds in Asian influences into small. shareable plates. In Bridge Park. Palm Valley Cocktails opened in May 2025 at 6770 Riverside Drive. with a “50s-style resort” vibe and cocktails built from herbs. tropical fruits. and other ingredients. plus bar snacks.

Some of the newest openings show up in North Market Bridge Park, where familiar formats keep changing. Panini Opa opened a second location in February at North Market Bridge Park, 6750 Longshore St. in Dublin. expanding a Greek and Italian menu that includes gyros and panini. pasta and pastitsio. stuffed peppers. and stuffed grape leaves. Also in that lineup. BBQ & The Pier opened in late May with barbecue dishes and seafood such as fish and chips and fried shrimp. along with raw oysters.

For visitors who want something sweet without committing to a sit-down dinner. the guide stretches beyond Ohio to include chains and international flavors. Juice Time—a chain with more than 350 locations in the United States—opened in October at 7717 Sawmill Road in Dublin and offers ice cream. milkshakes. Dubai strawberry cups. mousse pastries. and kunafa. a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with shredded phyllo. melted cheese. and honey. Tous les Jours. a South Korean bakery and coffee shop. opened in May 2025 at 7410 State Route 161 in Dublin with creative pastries and croissants. breads and buns. and coffee drinks and smoothies.

For Indian food and baked sweets. Triveni Express Indian Cafe & Bakery opened its first Ohio location in September at 7668 Sawmill Road in Dublin. It’s an offshoot of the Triveni Indian Supermarket chain. with the bakery selling items like chocolate cake and an array of Indian sweets. while the cafe side offers breakfast. lunch. and dinner.

Pizza fans have several new reasons to stay nearby. JT’s Pizza & Pub opened in January at 12066 Sycamore Trace in Jerome Township. described as JT’s third location and offering a set menu of traditional and specialty pizzas. including a Big Al with pepperoni. sausage. and banana peppers. In Powell, Pizza Twist opened in October at 258 W. Olentangy St. pairing a pizza menu that includes toppings like sliced lamb. cauliflower. paneer. and tikka masala sauce with Indian twists on pasta.

There’s also a new mobile stop for people who don’t want to plan dinner around a reservation: The Pizza Box is a pizza truck part of Seventh Son Brewing. serving subs. wings. and Neapolitan- and Detroit-style pies. It opened in August 2025 at Seventh Son’s Getaway Brewing Co., 108 N. High St. in Dublin.

Sushi is a major theme throughout the guide, with multiple options built around all-you-can-eat. Hoseki Sushi & Grill opened in March at 4290 Home Road in Powell. with sushi. sashimi. teppanyaki. and ramen. plus June specials offering 20% off hot appetizers such as shrimp and vegetable tempura. crab rangoon. and bacon-wrapped scallops. On the Northwest Side. Hokkaido Revolving Sushi Bar opened in November at 1466 Bethel Road. bringing the rolling. all-you-can-eat concept. along with sashimi. ramen. poke. hibachi. and tempura.

Takumi Sushi opened in February for lunch and dinner at 7370 Sawmill Road on the Far North Side. The guide describes it as an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant with old-school ordering rather than a conveyor belt, serving sushi, nigiri, sashimi, and hibachi and offering a separate omakase dinner.

Not everyone is in the mood for sushi, though—and the guide includes other buffet-style options. Er-Ge BBQ & Hotpot Buffet opened in August at 6100 Sawmill Road on the Northwest Side. The name is pronounced “arr-guh” and is tied to a Chinese term of endearment for the second-oldest brother in a family. It offers Chinese hot-pot and Korean barbecue, crab, skewers, and other cooked items on an all-you-can-eat buffet.

The Feast Buffet opened at 2620 Bethel Road on the Northwest Side. with all-you-can-eat seafood. hibachi. Chinese food. and pho for lunch and dinner. There’s also another location called The City Buffet at 3670 Soldano Blvd. in the Hilltop. For a different kind of scale, UMI Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet opened its first Ohio restaurant in April at 1831 W. Henderson Road in Upper Arlington. with a claim of more than 200 dishes daily at its two dozen locations around the country.

If spice is the plan. The Port of Peri Peri opened in December at 2540 Bethel Road on Columbus’ Northwest Side as its first Ohio location. It’s a fast-casual chicken chain with restaurants in 11 states. offering African-Portuguese fusion chicken marinated and grilled with a spicy. tangy sauce of chilis. spices. and vinegar.

The guide also spotlights newer “bowl and wrap” options. Farooj Abo Al Abed is a fast-casual chain from Lebanon specializing in charcoal-grilled chicken, shawarma, kebabs, and grilled sandwich wraps. The local Farooj opened in September at 7721 Sawmill Road in Dublin and is described as the chain’s first U.S. restaurant. In Linworth, Linworth Grill opened in November at 2245 W. Dublin Granville Road, offering a Persian fusion menu with beef and chicken kebabs, lamb, grilled shrimp, and falafel.

Sweetgreen enters the list as well, opening in November at 36 N. High St. in Dublin. It serves bowls, wraps, salads, and “protein plates” of salmon, steak, chicken, and other fresh ingredients.

Behind the headlines, the guide’s core message is simple: since May 2025, Dublin and nearby communities have been busy building out food options—so tournament-goers can eat close to Muirfield Village and residents can discover new places without planning around a long commute.
