Young man dies following single-vehicle crash in Wexford

A man in his 20s has died following a fatal motorcycle crash near Glenour in County Wexford late Friday night.
The single vehicle collision, involving a motorcycle, occurred last night at approximately 9.20pm near Glenour in Adamstown.. The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been taken to the mortuary in University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.. The L4016 is currently closed as a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators is being conducted.. Local diversions are in place.. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.. Any road users who were traveling on the L4016 between 9:00pm and 9:30pm on Friday 8th May 2026 are asked to make contact with investigating Gardaí..
