Moments after earning one of the first 4-Chair Turns of The Voice Season 30, 23-year-old Lexi Stephens received the compliment of all compliments from Coach Adam Levine before Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, and Queen Latifah also showered her with praise. But who did she pick amongst all of The Voice Season 30 Coaches? 

After a few moments of deliberation, the dramatic music ramped up as Stephens began to reveal her decision. But thanks to a well-placed To Be Continued Tomorrow Night… graphic, The Voice viewers will have to wait until the Wednesday, September 23 episode at 8 p.m. ET on NBC to find out what happened next. Adam Levine called Lexi Stephens’ Blind Audition “by far the best” on The Voice Season 30

The Voice Season 30 closed out Episode 2 on September 22 with Stephens’ stunning performance of “Die on This Hill” by Sienna Spiro. The song highlighted her amazing range, versatility, and stage presence, and the singer made the most of her Voice debut.

“Wow, Lexi. I’m gonna prove to you that I’m gonna be your Coach by how scrappy I’m about to get to try to get you on my team,” Levine said. And that’s when the Maroon 5 frontman laid it all on the line in an attempt to secure Stephens for his team.

“I have not heard that thing — that intangible soul — that I need to fight tooth and nail to just make them understand that I’m the right Coach,” he told the singer. “And honestly, Lexi, that was by far the best Blind Audition. I think you’re gonna probably win The Voice.”

And before Clarkson, Green, or Queen Latifah could even begin to pitch Stephens for their own teams, Levine reiterated how powerful her performance was. “You are the one,” Levine stated.

Levine’s words clearly had a big impact on the Artist; the singer (and her father) was fighting back tears throughout the entirety of the Coaches’ assessments.

Lexi Stephens earns rave reviews from the Coaches on The Voice Season 30

Unsurprisingly, the other Coaches felt the same way about that epic Blind Audition as Levine did.

“That was beautiful, that was masterful,” Queen Latifah said, with Green calling Stephens “undeniable.”

Clarkson’s pitch to the singer centered around strategy, with the Grammy winner explaining that her success in Season 30 will be all about song selection “because now, the world knows that you’re capable of doing a big ol’ badass song.”
