Who Is Grace Reiter? You Might’ve Seen SNL’s New Cast Member on TV or TikTok

Season 52 of Saturday Night Live is underway, and viewers were introduced to new Featured Player Grace Reiter, alongside fellow newbie Saidah Belo-Osagie. Reiter made her SNL sketch debut as Margl in the “Dream Academy” sketch, followed by “Old Friend” later in the show. But Reiter had already gained plenty of online fans ahead of her debut.

Before joining SNL, the Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin native honed her comedy skills with videos posted on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Reiter even co-starred in videos with current SNL Repertory Player Jane Wickline, years before either joined the show.

If Reiter hasn’t already popped up on your feed, you might’ve seen her in your TV screen — including on a series starring an SNL cast alum.

Grace Reiter’s Hunger Games (but Better) parody went viral in 2025

Gaining traction with her self-produced comedy videos online, Reiter made the “The Hunger Games (but Better)” trailer, released on TikTok in November 2025.

Just three days after the trailer dropped, fans were treated to the official release of “The Hunger Games (but Better)” in its entirety. The final product was hit YouTube on November 18, 2025, and begins with a title card that says, “For my 24th birthday, my friends and I spent 3 days in Pennsylvania remaking The Hunger Games from memory.”

The 42-minute video has amassed over 14 million views as of October 2026.

As for Reiter’s next pop culture opus, her TikTok bio yields clues: “Twilight (but better) coming soon.”

Grace Reiter has over X million followers on TikTok

After making her SNL debut in the Season 52 premiere, Reiter passed 4 million followers on TikTok.

In a 2025 interview with Elite Daily, Reiter explained that sharing comedy videos on TikTok was a natural next step for her, since she’d long shared her work within her own circle.

“I had been making videos on Instagram for my friends, so I decided to post them on TikTok as well to see what it could do,” she said. And she knows her Hunger Games parody had a big impact on her already-growing online presence.

“That got me maybe a million likes and then a million followers,” Reiter told the outlet. “When it was happening, I was like, ‘Yeah, kind of about damn time.'”
