What Police Found At The Scene Of Ken Urker’s Sudden Death

This is devastating to read.

According to a police report obtained by UsWeekly, officers found drug paraphernalia in Ken Urker‘s Louisiana residence following a wellness check Thursday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It was his 34th birthday.

The outlet says police found Ken lying in his bed. They believe he’d been there for “an extended period of time.”

“His face and his arms were blue. He had a paper towel placed on his left arm with what appeared to be blotches of blood on the paper towel.”

On the bedstand next to him was a syringe, two shot glasses, and a gun. In a nearby bathroom they saw a “brown powdery substance” and other drug paraphernalia.

Per their reporting, Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s sister-in-law Anita Blanchard was the one to call in for a wellness check after he hadn’t made it to work that day. She described him as being “in a dark place” and noted he had admitted feeling “depressed” at church the night before.

As we previously reported, Gypsy Rose spoke out shortly after the news broke. She believes his death was an overdose, but she’s unsure if it was “intentional or not.”

“Ken was an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved. He will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase.”

We continue to send our condolences to Gypsy Rose, their nearly two-year-old daughter Aurora, and all of Ken’s loved ones.
