Thomas Castellanos got the chance to score his first touchdown for Texas Tech as the No. 13 Red Raiders took down the Oregon State Beavers 35-24 on Saturday night.
Castellanos is going through the fifth year of his collegiate career, his first with the Red Raiders. He had different stints at UCF, Boston College and Florida State before moving over to Texas Tech this past offseason.
Castellanos is currently the backup quarterback behind Will Hammond, having been the full-time starter in his last three seasons. That won’t stop him from being ready for the moment.
