A major TV return is locked in for May 20: Tyler Perry’s political drama, “The Oval,” is set to come back for its seventh and final season, with BET and Paramount+ sharing the spotlight on the same day.

BET announced that “Tyler Perry’s The Oval” will return on Tuesday, May 20. The new season will be available on Paramount+ beginning at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET, while BET will air the episode that same evening at 9 PM ET/8 PM CT.

The final chapter consists of 22 episodes, with a weekly release schedule on BET running through September 30. Episodes will also air the same day on Paramount+, tying the streaming and cable premieres together for viewers tracking the story in real time.
