Picture perfect: Two photographers team up for free Limerick exhibition

A free exhibition opens at Limerick City Gallery of Art this Tuesday, pairing two photographers exploring how people and places shape each other.

A NEW exhibition of the works of two photographers opens at the Limerick City Gallery of Art this Tuesday and runs until Sunday.. Adare-based Helen O’Callaghan Photography and Ger O’Brien Photography have teamed up for the free showcase of their talents.. place intersect.. One body of work focuses on portraiture and human presence, intimate studies of identity, culture, movement and expression.. The other responds to the Irish landscape, capturing atmosphere, structure and stillness across shifting environments.. Rather than existing as separate approaches, the works are presented in dialogue, revealing how meaning is formed between individuals and the spaces they inhabit, from quiet personal moments to expansive natural and cultural landscapes.. All are welcome to attend the

exhibition in the Limerick City Gallery of Art from this Tuesday, May 12 to Sunday, May 17.
