Tom Brady’s Stunned Reaction To Gisele’s Pregnancy News Post-Divorce Revealed
Tom Brady might have realized Gisele Bündchen was his Babylon too late.
In 2024, when news broke two years after their divorce that the supermodel was pregnant again and expecting her and boyfriend Joaquim Valente‘s first child, Tom was stunned.
Anyone following his social media at the time could discern he was emotional over it. He shared an image of a sunset to his Instagram Stories and chose The Chicks‘ cover of Fleetwood Mac‘s song Landslide to accompany it. Not only that, he specifically chose to have the following lyrics play over the photo:
“Oh mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?”
Everyone knows Landslide is THE song when you’re dealing with life-changing heartache like divorce, losing the love of your life, grief of a lost loved one, closing and opening new chapters, etc.

Now, in Lars Anderson‘s new book, Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness, it’s revealed just how much the reality of Gisele moving on sank in at that moment.
Lars spoke to a friend of the football GOAT, and they said Tom was crushed:
“According to a friend of Brady’s, he was absolutely ‘stung’ that she had become pregnant roughly two years after their divorce.”
Ouch.
We mean, two years is a pretty decent amount of time. But we guess Tom hadn’t really faced the full reality of their divorce quite yet. Maybe he even thought they could eventually reconnect? Who knows. Like they say, healing isn’t always linear.
Gisele and Joaquim are still happily together, raising their son and making the most of their time. As for Tom, he’s a lead NFL game analyst for Fox Sports and minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. He’s been rumored to have casual romances here and there, having recently been linked to influencer Alix Earle. But, for now anyway, it’s clear Gisele was the love of his life. Even if he says football is his true love…
