Thunder-Spurs, Knicks-Pistons: NBA finals schedule unveiled

The defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder are already mapping out their next step, with the NBA unveiling a full conference finals schedule that hinges on one Game 7 in the East.
In the Western Conference Finals. Oklahoma City will meet the San Antonio Spurs. marking San Antonio’s first third-round appearance since 2017.. On the other side. the Eastern Conference Finals will be determined by whether the Detroit Pistons or Cleveland Cavaliers win Sunday’s Game 7—setting up a shot at the New York Knicks.
If Detroit wins Game 7, the Pistons will host Games 1, 2, 5, and 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. If Cleveland advances instead, the Knicks will hold home-court advantage and play at Madison Square Garden in Games 1, 3, 5, and 7.

Why do they keep making the Knicks play at MSG like that’s a guarantee? Home court doesn’t mean anything if the refs are trash. Also May 31 Game 7 East sounds so stressful.
I don’t get it, Game 4 is Mon May 25* but it says times to be announced… so like what even is that star for? Also Thunder vs Spurs opening in OKC means OKC already won in my head.
Thunder in the West and then Knicks in the East… I swear the NBA always sets it up so the big market team gets home games. If Cleveland advances they play Knicks at MSG Games 1,3,5,7 right? That seems unfair somehow.
